Ms. Jacobs saw a dentist only one time in her life before she came to HCH. With no insurance and no money, her parents couldn’t afford to get the kids teeth cleanings. When she came to HCH, ten of her teeth needed to be pulled.
“Sunlight came into the room when Dr. Stack told me that there was some money to pay for dentures,” declared Ms. Jacobs. “I couldn’t walk into a potential employer like this! I couldn’t move forward the way that I was. This is a program to pick people up and give them the opportunity to stand again.” – Ms. Jacobs
